- Schedule Changes
- 7:30pm - Taina was originally scheduled.
- Today marks the last day of the SLAM! block, as well as the last times Speed Racer X and Super Duper Sumos aired on Nickelodeon.
- Speed Racer X was originally planned to be a U-Pick choice for the U-Pick Live block on weekdays, but never ended up making the cut. However, an icon for the show designed to be used for the U-Pick Live webpage was made and viewable through Nick.com, suggesting the decision not to include the show as a U-Pick option was last-minute.
- Invader ZIM, having been aired regularly since its premiere on March 30, 2001, disappeared from the network's regular lineup after today. The show would occasionally return to Nick in the following years, such as for the "Intergalactoon Afternoon" event on May 1, 2004 and scarcely airing in early morning hour timeslots in 2004 and 2005, before airing on the network for the last time on November 22, 2007, as part of Superstuffed Nicktoons Weekend.
- The Super Duper Sumos, unlike Speed Racer, would get a chance to shine once more on Nick via U-Pick Live, being an option for the block's "Nick.com Pick" three times throughout the following month. Unfortunately, this effort proved fruitless, with the Sumos not once getting even second place in the votes; the highest percentage of votes they received was 21%.
- Men in Black: The Series fortunately went on to air a few more times throughout 2003. The show was the second from the SLAM! lineup to become a U-Pick choice for U-Pick Live, appearing as a choice three separate times in the weeks following. Unlike the Sumos, however, Men in Black went on to win the Nick.com Pick on the April 8 show, beating out established Nicktoons CatDog and Rocket Power with 41% of the votes. The series proceeded to be reran into the spring and summer on Sunday afternoons, with episodes not yet aired on Nick even being added into the rotation. The series aired on Nick for the last time on July 20, 2003.
