In a place where you belong, where you'll probably sing a song, and maybe dance along, you'll find The Backyardigans! These five high-spirited colorful animal friends--Pablo, Tyrone, Uniqua, Tasha, Austin--use their imagination to transfigure their backyard into landscapes of adventure, where they embark on amazing expeditions together. These creative characters encourage preschoolers to develop an admiration of music, dance, and their ability to imagine as they explore different locations and listen to various genres of original music along with professionally choreographed dance numbers.

The following is a list of episodes of The Backyardigans. The series only lasted for four seasons with 74 half-hour episodes and 3 hour-long episodes. However, twelve episodes from the fourth season premiered on the Nick Jr. channel. One episode from the fourth season ended up airing on the Nick Jr. channel first in November 2012, then premiered five months later on Nick in April 2013.
